Meet Your Teachers

Meet Mrs Mandy:

Mandy Moss lives in Seaford, DE with her husband Jake and their two adorable, spunky, kiddos Eloise and Joel. As the daughter of a music teacher herself, Mandy learned to read and write music alongside her ABCs and developed a deep passion for piano from an early age. Discovering piano to be an amazingly effective outlet, Mandy spent most of her childhood and teen years on a bench testing and pushing her limits of skill and exploring a entire world of creativity unknown to many. Piano is, in many ways, her “first language.” At the age of 18 Mandy began teaching her younger sisters and then their friends to play, and discovered a new passion: empowering others with the tools to pour all their joy, excitement, sorrow, fear, melancholy and angst into music. Nearly a decade later her students are well-rounded, expressive, flourishing musicians and Mandy finds equal pride in her accomplishments training young musicians as in the development of her own skill on piano.

Mandy accepts beginning and transfer piano students ages 4 and up and offers creative, technique-centered lessons through level 6. She teaches from her home studio in Seaford as well as from Community Christian Church in Salisbury, MD.

Meet Mrs Lauren:

Lauren Green is a graduate of Washington College’s School of Music and Theater. It was there where she began giving others vocal and foundations of music lessons to her professor’s children and friends.  She now lives with her husband and daughter in Delmar, DE, where music is a part of their everyday routine.

Growing up, she was surrounded by music in the church, in the theater and in her home. The impact that music and singing had on her life has led to a passion to share it with others. She believes that music can open the doors of creativity for every person, grow confidence in every individual and allow better communication and teamwork in all generations.

Lauren believes that lessons that are built with fun and creativity, lead to a lifetime joy of music. All lessons are based in theory, but students rarely ever realize that they are mastering theory during our time together!  Music is always joyful and she believes the learning process should be as well.

Lessons are for all individuals, ranging from 3 years and up. For all lessons, the foundations will be laid for an even greater reach of music than before you walked in the door. We welcome any level of singing, whether it is a new beginner or lifetime singer.
